Lawyer websites. The last thing we want to do is offend a law firm, but for the most part, their websites are rather grim. About as inviting as the situations that bring clients to you in the first place.

Kathryne Dumke and Meredith MacLeod were starting their own practice. A very progressive and forward-thinking duo, they needed an identity and a website that reflected their unique personalities. They wanted to stand out.

We got to know them through the branding process. The final product deviates a bit from what you might see at a traditional law firm. It's based on nomadic tribe markings and symbolizes forward movement or moving on past where you are now. Something that has a lot of meaning to them and in-turn extends to their clients. The logo was applied to business cards, letterhead, ads, and other material.

Now we're on the same (web)page

We want a site that's inviting and modern. We looked at other websites, large and small, local and not, read some specific articles, etc. This led to the simple approach used on the site. We agreed that photography would be important, as they were planning photo sessions we worked this into the website design form the start. There’s also the blog, another point of differentiation form a lot of other firms, adding a personal touch and something that can add value to clients over time.
